A. S. Création and crossbase – individual and versatile
A.S. Création uses crossbase to synchronize the PIM data with the ERP system and the image workflow thanks to the integrated image database.
With the crossbase software solution, all product information is maintained centrally in one place. This simplifies the production processes for the media to be created and ensures that the data source is always up-to-date.

A.S. Création Tapeten AG is one of the leading wallpaper manufacturers in Europe. Every year, more than 6,000 different wallpapers and borders are produced in all material qualities and for all areas of application. A.S. Création offers its customers a wide range of services: comprehensive store planning, shopfitting, scheduling services, decoration services and individual marketing concepts.
Based on the crossbase standard software, a customized MAM solution was implemented for A.S. Création with the option of expanding it to include a complete PIM solution. Over 60,000 articles are continuously imported from the ERP system to the PIM via the XML interface and mapped in a product and marketing structure.
The integrated image database is used to organize the entire image workflow in order to convert, categorize and structure images, videos and documents. Keywords and other metadata can be assigned. Product-specific images are assigned directly to the articles. For layout designers, the high-resolution image data is made available in the Apple environment so that it can be easily inserted into InDesign.
The image data is used in various online media and sales channels at home and abroad via the API server. The API server offers a JSON/REST interface to provide image information or to stream the image data. The API server is also used to synchronize the PIM data with the ERP system.
